The choices you can opt for for bespoke wedding stationery are endless! There are so many different types of paper stock, designs, finish (such as foiling) that it can be pretty hard to decide how much of your wedding budget you should allocate towards wedding stationery! On average, couples invest between 3-6% for their 'Before the Day' stationery (this includes Save the Dates, Invitation Suites etc) and an extra 1-3% of their wedding budget towards their 'On the Day' stationery (including items such as Table plan, Menus, Place Cards etc).

What can you get if you have under £300 to spend on stationery?
There are some amazing unique collections where you can semi customise your invitations and information cards with your own text and wording! We have an In-House collection that does just this! We send through a digital proof of your design with your desired wording before your artwork gets sent to the printer. The collections are totally unique artwork too, printed on high quality paper stock such as Silk or Italian Textured! We package these up and get them delivered to you, it's as simple as that!

What can you get if you have between £300-£500 to spend on stationery?
Within this budget you are investing in bespoke wedding stationery, totally custom to you as a couple, your colour scheme, and your theme! This all depends on the quantity of items and how many guests you will have attending your wedding of course.
What if you have between £500-£800 to spend on stationery?
This is where you can have more options available to you! If you wanted your venue to be drawn, maybe foiling on your invitations, or even more On the Day stationery, such as a welcome sign - this is all possible with an investment between £500-£800. You could even have small finishing touches, if you like twine to wrap around your invitations for instance.

What if you have over £800+ to spend on stationery?
If you like the idea of having letterpressed invitations, or hot foiling this can be possible with an investment of over £800+. You can also opt for different shaped invitations such as hearts or arch shaped, and even handmade paper to print on! The possibilities are endless - you can opt to have more finishing touches such as Wax Seals, Belly Bands, Vellum Wraps, Printed Envelopes and Liners, Silk Ribbon and more! Inspiration
Need some help with what sort of design you would like? This is where I come in! Perhaps you would like to include your venue, a landscape, or even a wedding crest of your initials! Initially I would say to start off with your wedding colour scheme and maybe flowers, and the rest follows on from there!

Printing Techniques
Digital Printing
Similar to what you would get from a home laser printer only much higher quality with no fading or smudging. The printer uses thousands of minuscule ink dots to form letters and designs on your chosen paper type.
Die-Cutting
A process to cut out an array of delicate shapes from paper. Think about when you make biscuits … if you wanted to make a star shape you wouldn’t do it by hand, you would just go out and buy a star cutter.
Digital Foiling
A process that leaves you with shiny, metallic accents, printed onto your design. Available in seven colours: silver, gold, rose gold, copper, red and blue on silk or recycled silk paper types.
Letterpress
A text or image is etched on a raised surface and coated with ink to produce a physical impression on the paper for this labour-intensive method. The letters are indented on the front and slightly raised on the back creating a textural and refined look. A more expensive printing method limited to thicker card stock.
Common Paper Types
Silk
“Silk coated paper has a low surface sheen and luxurious feel. It offers excellent ink to paper contrast, and printed colours appear bright and defined.”
Tintoretto Gesso
“The 'hammered' texture of Tintoretto is strangely satisfying to touch. A fine Italian paper that's perfect for bringing prestige to any print.”
Pearl Polar
"A soft, white pearlescent paper, that glistens like a snowy winter morning. Its subtle glow enlivens deluxe cards without fighting for attention with printed artwork.”
Vellum
“Vellum paper adds an ethereal dimension to printed artwork, offering a translucent finish, with an effortless, airy simplicity. Ideal when paired with additional paper layers, it's a favourite choice for romantic Wedding Stationery and luxury Invites.”
Kraft
“Kraft is an earthy, latte-coloured paper that transforms designs with a vintage edge. It has an uncoated, smooth surface with a natural textured appearance.”
Recycled Silk
“Discover all the features of Recycled Silk, now manufactured from sustainably certified, 100% recycled fibres.”
Signage Boards
2mm Card
Durable yet lightweight, perfect for indoor displays.
3mm Foamex
